The Collin Small Business Development Center, in Plano, TX, is a partnership between the U.S. Small Business Administration, the State of Texas, and Collin College. Through this partnership, one-on-one, strategic business consulting is provided at no charge to businesses and residents of Collin and Rockwall Counties. Low and no charge workshops and seminars are scheduled on topics that are essential to business success.  These are specific ways we help:

In addition to consulting and training, our office provides clients with:

  • Comprehensive resource library and computer workstation installed with the latest business software and programs such as Business Plan Pro and QuickBooks
  • Industry experts who volunteer assistance to clients through training and consulting on topics such as social media and internet marketing, legal issues, accounting and taxes
  • Leaders in the North Texas region through partnering with community programs such as regional chambers of commerce, lenders and economic development centers

 


Cost for Services

There is no charge for consulting services and the majority of our SBDC seminars and workshops are also free. Occasionally, there may be a training event where a nominal fee is charged.
